Who we are

What information we collect
This website does not have any contact forms or accounts, and it does not collect personal information directly. If you get in touch by phone, email or through Facebook Marketplace, I will hold the details you give me (such as your name, phone number and email address) so that I can reply to you.
If you buy a car, I will record your name, address and contact details on a sales invoice, as required to document the sale.
How we use your information
- To answer your enquiry about a car for sale.
- To arrange a viewing or test drive.
- To complete and keep a record of a vehicle sale.
I do not use your details for marketing and I do not sell or share them with third parties, except where required by law.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are deleted once the enquiry is closed. Sales invoices are kept for six years for tax and legal purposes.
Third-party services
This site embeds a Google Map and, when a car is for sale, a Facebook Marketplace listing. These services are provided by Google and Meta, who may collect data about your visit under their own privacy policies: Google Privacy Policy and Meta Privacy Policy. See the Cookies page for details.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what information I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how it is used. To exercise any of these rights, email gw@8fp.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
